In video editing, a stroke is a line that outlines an object or shape. Strokes can be used to add emphasis, create visual interest, or simply to make an object stand out. In Davinci Resolve, there are two main ways to give something a stroke: using the Stroke effect or the Shape Stroke effect.
The Stroke effect is a simple way to add a stroke to an object or shape. This effect can be found in the Effects Library under the Stylize category. To use the Stroke effect, simply drag and drop it onto the clip you want to affect. You can then adjust the settings of the effect to change the width, color, and opacity of the stroke.
